This is Holiday Bernice, A doll made by Katherine's Collection. this is the life-size version of her. She is a rare doll and hard to find. She also comes in a 32 inch version. She also has a look-a-like version named Flamingo Flo that was also created by Katherine's Collection.

Your beautiful black lady doll was designed and created as Bernice in 2002 for our 2003 holiday collection called “Who Spiked the Eggnog”. While she was retired in this costumed version after the 2003 season, we decided to continue the doll into our Spring 2004 collection called, “Flamingo Flo’s”. Flamingo Flo was retired after the 2004 spring season, however, she made one more appearance during the 2004 holiday season collection - dressed up with two of her friends in a collection called “Uptown Girls”, in which the three older gals were all dressed up in their sequins and boas with their hair all duded up and hitting the town. The version of that doll was called Roberta VaVoom.

She was finally retired completely until the 2010 spring collection for Mardi Gras called Fat Tuesday. She was then a figurine style doll, made all of resin. Miss Bessie Jazz Diva was her name. She has since been completely retired and is not expected to return.
