“Pokemon ex” returns to the Pokemon TCG,Scarlet & Violet TCG Cards Shown at Worlds

August 21,2022 During the Closing Ceremony of the Pokemon World Championship of 2022, A sneak peak of the cards for the new Scarlet & Violet TCG series was revealed.

“Pokemon ex” are making their return in the new Scarlet & Violet TCG Series coming in 2023. Koraidon ex, Miraidon ex, Mimikyu ex, Lucario ex, and Magnezone ex was revealed in a trailer during the Closing Ceremony. They are hinting at a new pokemon card type.

The Scarlet & Violet “Pokemon ex” will work like the original “Pokemon ex” introduced in 2007 with EX Ruby & Sapphire. The EX mechanic introduced in the Black & White TCG is different from this “Pokemon ex” Mechanic.

We will probably see terrestrialization in the new Scarlet & Violet TCG in the form of new cards.
