Evolving Skies hits stores this August | Pokemon TCG

Pokemon TCG’s August set, Sword & Shield Evolving Skies releases August 22, 2021. This features Rayquaza VMAX and Duraludon VMAX as the main pokemon this set is featured around as the dragon type cards are making a return to the Pokemon TCG. They took a short break after Sun & Moon Cosmic Eclipse was released and didn’t appear in the current Sword & Shield sets until this upcoming one. Evolving Skies will have the cards that were in the Japanese Pokemon Sets, Blue Sky Stream and Towering Perfection.

Rayquaza VMAX (Rapid Strike)

Ability: Blue Sky Wave

Once during your turn, you may discard your hand and draw 3 cards.

Discard any amount of basic Fire Energy or any amount of basic Lightning Energy from this Pokémon. This attack does 80 more damage for each card you discarded in this way.
